While being transported to a minimum-security detention center, four juvenile offenders, are detoured to pick up a notorious serial killer and career criminal Julius Vickson from an aging maximum-security prison facility.

The four teens, along with most of the remaining guards and inmates, quickly become Vickson's hostages, and once they think that things are as bad as they can get, they discover that Vickson is more dangerous than anyone could possibly imagine. A deal with the Devil has Vickson into a vicious monster; hell bent on hunting everyone down and killing everything in his path.

Escape is a survival tale with equal doses of action, horror, and suspense, combining elements of John Carpenter's The Thing, Predator, and The Shining.
